How to Set Up Fixed Product Prices Based on Country

Modified on Fri, 26 Dec at 2:19 AM

If you want to keep product prices consistent across countries—without relying on real-time currency conversion—you can set up fixed pricing by market in Shopify. This approach is especially useful for stable pricing, ad campaigns, and promotions based on local strategies.

Transtore fully supports this setup and will automatically sync and display the fixed prices you configure in Shopify.

I. How to Set Up Fixed Pricing in Shopify

To use fixed prices instead of automatic conversion, follow these steps in Shopify Admin:

  1. Create Markets in Shopify

    • Go to Settings → Markets

    • Set up a market for each country or region you want to target

  2. Assign One Currency per Market

    • Choose the currency you want to use for each market

  3. Set Fixed Product Prices (Catalogs)

    • In each market, create or edit a Catalog

    • Manually enter fixed product prices for that market

For detailed instructions, please refer to Shopify’s guide: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/international/pricing/product-prices-by-country

II. How Transtore Works with Fixed Prices

Once your Shopify Markets are configured:

  • Transtore automatically syncs market settings from Shopify

  • Fixed product prices are displayed directly on the storefront

  • Prices are no longer auto-converted by exchange rates

This ensures customers always see the correct price for their country.
